We perform highly specialized technical studies related to all aspects of the acquisition, processing, interpretation of seismic, geological modeling, production forecast by the use of our proprietary integrated E&P 3G Workflow in the exploration and development of petroleum fields. We use our own advanced niche technologies, operational capabilities and services, in drilling, workover, hydraulic fracturing, well testing and production facilities, to assist our clients in de-risking their assets.
Our subsidiary FracGeo developed its proprietary software platform, FracPredictor™, to extract the maximum information from seismic and wells data that play a critical role in the phases of exploration, field delineation as well as reservoir stimulation.
We work with clients and partners who have a continued concern for the success and reduction of the development costs of their blocks. We favor the nurturing of a strategic partnership with our clients to optimize the exploration and production of hydrocarbon reserves in extremely complex settings where previous operators have missed their targets.
Using scarce geoscience dataset, our integrated E&P workflow allows the identification of hydrocarbon-rich sweetspots in complex settings. We have an extensive experience in Africa and have a deep understanding of rift systems. We have unique tools that use limited 2D seismic data and few wells to generate 3D reservoir models that reduce the exploration risks and costs in undervalued basins.
With uncertainties in every aspect of oil and gas development in Africa, we introduced the Scrum Oilfield Development. Once a field is well understood and its sweet spots identified, intelligent continuous integration of regional and local results leads to effective development of discovered reserves. Using the drilling, workover, and hydraulic fracturing equipment owned and operated by Olive Energy, the field is developed in an incremental approach using Sprints where short term goals are reached every 3 to 6 months.
Our highly specialized drilling team customizes our equipment for each challenging scenario as well as designs optimal well paths to drill ideal trajectories that intercept the thickest and most productive sections of the targeted reservoirs. Vertical, highly deviated, and horizontal wells are used whenever needed to achieve the project objectives. Real time monitoring of drilling progress and using FracGeo’s unique Drilling Guidance™ technology provides the needed information to plan the stimulation of the newly drilled well.
While most operators struggle and abandon challenging hydrocarbon-rich fields, we can help unlock the reserves from tight fractured rocks by using our powerful 12,000 HP frac spreads. While most service companies bring old and inefficient fracing equipment to Africa, we invested in the most powerful and advanced fracing equipment used in the unconventional US fields. We use our subsidiary FracGeo’s proprietary 3G software, FracPredictor™, to model the optimal frac designs able to account for the geologic realities and allow successful hydraulic pumping jobs.
With hundreds of poorly maintained and old wells across Africa the need for modern workovers jobs is urgent. Our workover rigs can help intervene to enhance and maintain economic production levels over time. We provide and install all types of completions. Our workover rigs and completion equipment in many cases could significantly increase production from existing wells. Our Slickline/e-line truck, with its wide range of interventions tools complement the workover operations.
Transferring real-projects technical execution know-how with advanced educational experiences to our African staff, clients and partners, is at the core of our business strategy. We provide in our Pointe Noire training facility multiple training sessions, including IWCF preparation and exams, for the drilling community in Africa.
